Fun Idea

Me and my partner have a poster of the world, every time we travel somewhere new, we stick in a pin to represent where we have been.

When ever I walk past it brings back our memories and gets me excited for future plans.

Its so much fun and would be perfect for all families to do.

Aogashima Volcano, Japan

Aogashima is a small, tropical volcanic island in the Philippine Sea, under the administration of Tokyo. The island itself is a giant volcanic crater, and within that crater there is another, smaller volcano.

Aogashima is still considered an active Class-C volcano though it last erupted in the 1780s. When it last erupted it killed nearly half of the islands population and forced the remaining inhabitants to flee. It took just fifty years for the people to return. Today, some 200 brave villagers live on the island.

Hiller lake(pink lake), Western Australia

This pink lake is a natural phenomenon and not only draw visitors from far and wide but also provide livelihoods to local people.

Pink lakes tend to have a striking colour due to the presence of algae that produces carotenoids, such as Dunaliella Salina, a type of halophile green micro-algae especially found in sea salt fields.

Lake Hillier is a pink-coloured lake on Middle Island, the largest of the islands and islets that make up the Recherche Archipelago, in Western Australia. The lake spans only about 600 meters wide but its rose pink colour is unmistakable

Christ of the Abyss at San Fruttuoso, Italy

A a submerged bronze statue of Jesus Christ, the Christian Messiah, it was placed in the water on 22 August 1954 at approximately 17 metres depth, and stands c. 2.5 metres tall. Various other casts of the statue are located in other places worldwide, both underwater and in churches and museums.
