So how do you get Oil Pulling Benefits?
The Method
You simply rinse the mouth with approximately one tablespoon of oil cold pressed (raw) oil for 15 minutes first thing in the morning then spit it out and wash the teeth, gums, tongue and palate thoroughly.
Move it around in your mouth and through your teeth, as if it was mouthwash. You'll find that the oil will start to get watery as your saliva mixes with it. Keep swishing.If your jaw muscles get sore while swishing, you're putting too much into it. Relax your jaw muscles and use your tongue to help move the liquid around the inside of your mouth. When you do this correctly, you'll feel very comfortable.
Do this gently for 20 minutes in a relaxed way. If this becomes to unbearable spit it out and try again. It may be difficult to do the whole 20 minutes at first, but you will soon get used to it.
When the process starts working the oil will become whitish and thinner as the toxins are pulled out.
